God has established our church in this city to be a place of transformation for many. Transformation happens when we come to know God’s irresistible plan through Jesus to give us salvation and a life of blessing. That is where true transformation begins.
We are a church of Jesus. We’re not perfect, but Jesus is. We have a passionate desire to see others transformed by the love and power of Jesus, serving our community and making a difference.

The mission of Masterpiece Church is to be a place of transformation for everyone who feels an emptiness and longs to be filled with the love of God. As we come to know Him, His Spirit begins to transform us into His image and into everything God has purposed for us, as we give ourselves to serving others for His greatness.
Our desire is to see Henry County and the surrounding area truly transformed by the power of God, one life at a time.
Your presence is our passion
Our gatherings are times of worship, prayer and teaching from the Word. We want worship to become more than a song — a time when the Spirit of the living God touches us — with our eyes fixed not on people, songs, pastors or denominations, but on the only One who deserves it.
We believe the church is one family, the body of Christ, and that God plants us in His house so we can put down roots and grow in His Word. In 2026 our messages have walked through why we believe, the Church and its message — Christ — the work of the Holy Spirit, and the cross.

Our faith
Created by and for God, we passionately seek an intimate relationship with Him in response to His great love for us.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God. All Scripture is divinely inspired by God and is the foundation of sound doctrine; it is accurate and applicable to our daily lives.
We believe there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things, fully loving and completely holy.
We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is the only one who can reconcile us to God.
We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His power to heal, His miracles, His atoning death through His sacrifice on the cross, His bodily resurrection, and His ascension to the right hand of the Father as our High Priest and Mediator.
We believe the Lord Jesus will come again, just as He promised.
We believe that each time we take the Lord’s Supper we remember that Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to show His victory and give us eternal life.
We believe water baptism is an outward expression of our faith that shows the believer’s identification with the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus.
We believe the Holy Spirit is our Comforter, who guides us in every area of life. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and in the nine gifts and the fruit of the Spirit.
We believe the death of Jesus Christ was the final and complete sacrifice for the sins of humanity. Salvation is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ; all who repent and receive Him as Savior and Lord are born again as children of God.
We believe we are called to carry the good news, the gospel of grace, to all nations, and to live in the power of the Holy Spirit, making the Father famous. Knowing God is the greatest treasure of our lives.

Prayer
Prayer is a fundamental part of Masterpiece Church. We have set out to be a House of Prayer for our city. We are thirsty for His presence; we pray because without Him, we are nothing.
