Prison Ministry
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.” — Isaiah 61:1
Mission
Our mission is to win more souls for Christ by preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ through a simple but powerful message that ministers to the soul and shapes the heart to live according to the Word of God.
Vision
The Masterpiece Church Prison Ministry believes in a restorative approach for prisoners serving sentences in state, federal or county prisons. We believe this approach not only improves our community in a positive way, but also creates a safer and healthier society. Our ministry is founded on the conviction that every person is created in the image of God and that no life is beyond God’s reach. As Christians, we believe that Jesus — Himself put on trial, executed, buried and raised from the dead — offers hope, healing and a new purpose for every life. He can make even the most broken people and situations whole again.
“Let this be recorded for future generations, so that a people not yet born will praise the Lord. Tell them the Lord looked down from his heavenly sanctuary. He looked down to earth from heaven to hear the groans of the prisoners, to release those condemned to die. And so the Lord’s fame will be celebrated in Zion, his praises in Jerusalem.” — Psalm 102:18-21

Ron & Yessi Castillo
Ron and Yessi Castillo live in McDonough and have two sons, Seth and Logan. For the last ten years of their lives, they have dedicated their time and effort to serving the Lord. Anyone who talks with Ron and Yessi for just five minutes quickly notices the passion and love they have for Jesus and for serving Him.
Since 2015, Ron has preached in different jails and prisons across the state of Georgia — federal, state and county. Through his service, he has seen the power of preaching the Gospel of Jesus to bring life, restoration and eternal life to those who need it most. It is his desire, his passion and his dream to see a true revival of the Holy Spirit in Georgia’s prisons and to see souls surrendered to the Lord Jesus.
Ron and Yessi are living examples of what it means to live a life dedicated to serving the Lord. They have devoted their time, energy and resources to carrying the message of hope and salvation to those who find themselves in dark and desperate places. Their love for Jesus and their desire to serve Him is an inspiration to everyone who knows them. Their example inspires others to follow in their path and to serve the Lord with all their heart.

“For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me. […] And the King will say, ‘I tell you the truth, when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were doing it to me!’” — Matthew 25:35-40
Give or donate to our church
“You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. ‘For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.’” — 2 Corinthians 9:7
